The depth of the shading in the irises is impressive. The simplicity of the composition is quite perfect. I always insist on over-finishing my drawings. :P I wish I could do something this restrained. Anyway, the only negative comment I have to make is about the tears. My drawn tears never satisfy me, and these don't quite, either, but only by a small margin. But, then again, they're just tough little cookies to crack, aren't they? Anyway, wonderful job! :)

This is beautiful, I love it! The emotion it conveys especially stands out because of the purity in the background and the lack of shadows. Very emotive :clap: Also love the eyebrows and eyes
